Idyllwild documented the Seed to Vase to Table Dinner at Seven Seeds Farm amidst fields of gorgeous vegetables and flowers.
This specialty seed to table dinner event highlighted the Slow Flower movement. In addition to featuring organic and local food, local cut flower growers provided flowers for each dinner course and for a DIY flower bar for guests to take home their own arrangements. These flower growers include Flora Farm, Le Mera Gardens, Runnymede Farm, Sugar Blossom Flower Farm, Sweet Water Farm and Singing Larks Farm.
Chef Keith Weitzman took us on a culinary journey with seasonal food and edible flowers of the Rogue and Applegate Valleys.
This event was a fundraiser for Our Family Farms and supported their work to protect traditional seeds and encourage regenerative agriculture.
